We will always remember the year 2020!
Covid 19 has brought the world to its knees in ways that we never imagined.
And yet, it is the one single thing that we all have in common.
Never before, are we so tightly bound around the world by a series of similar experiences.
Like an invisible yarn that has been weaved around us.
No matter where or who we are, each of us would have been affected by Covid 19 directly or indirectly.
This dangerous, bizarre situation has opened doors for connection beyond our country’s borders.
Imagine how easy it is today to start a conversation about Covid 19 with a stranger you meet at a bus stop.
Because today, we already share an unique experience.
We know what a lockdown is.
We know what the supermarket aisles looked like days before a lockdown.
We became expert at virtual meetings.
We witness businesses closing.
We track the daily positive cases more than the stock market.
And we know that whatever happens, we must have toilet papers by our side.
We have so much to share over food and drinks if we ever meet.
And we don’t even need to explain, define, or translate this unforgettable experience.
As I reflected on my 2020, I would like to say a BIG ‘Thank You” to all of you who have reached out to read, feedback, like, encourage, share or invite me to put my work online.
Today, I am in a much better place than I was back in Jan 2020 because you have taken the time to connect.
